We were awarded a UNDP grant for $300k in 2014.
Our project introduced vertical bottle gardens to schools as a tool to learn financial literacy and understand about the impact of food on their health. As part of a UNDP grant, two versions of a basic financial literacy was introduced into classrooms ( with and without bottle gardens). You can view the project and download the lesson plans at mycashpan.co
An additional element of the grant was planting leadership trees across TnT. We created a mapping platform not only for our trees but also for another organizations and citizens to start mapping trees in their community. The 4h Club of TnT managed the Tree Mapping Platform for the Sept 2016 school term. Over 2000 trees were mapped by students and teachers. Visit treemappingtnt.com.
